I see that I thought I now had a grip of this website and was hopeful of regular blogs… well every 3 years is not what I had in mind! A lot has happened in the last 3 years; improvements to the property (anyone with a lifestyle block will know that this is never ending) as well as improvements to the pressing process, making my job easier as I get older! We’ve also joined a wonderful local group called the Moutere Artisans which produce top quality products from their own properties on a small scale. Visit the website www.moutereartisans.co.nz to see what we have to offer in our area. Upper Moutere is well worth a visit. On a more personal level, one of our sons has left home, our second son is in his final year of school and will leave home early next year and our daughter is about to start college so it’s all change in the Pine household. We still have our wonderful dog, Poppy, and have added a cat called Dot. I’m not responsible for her name, we inherited her from my sister, Anna. We have 6 ducks, at least 20 geese and last of all, 20 beef cattle, so all in all, there’s never a dull moment! I’ll try to write again within the next year or two!! I hope those of you in the Northern Hemisphere are having a wonderful summer, while those of you in the Southern Hemisphere are keeping warm. Best wishes to you all.
